Militants attack Jammu braveheart’s house

In a clear revenge attack, militants on Friday hurled grenades at the house of Rukhsana Kausar – the Jammu girl who made headlines after killing an armed Lashar-e-Toiba terrorist with his own AK-47. The attackers threw grenades at the police picket just outside the house, and fired at it for around ten minutes. Rukhsana and her family however were not in the house; they have been living elsewhere since their encounter with militants.

Pak soldier killed in infiltration bid

On Friday morning, the Army foiled an Infiltration bid in Keran sector of Kupwara in North Kashmir. Two infiltrators are killed, one of them being a soldier in Pakistan Army.

J&K govt suspends 27 striking doctors
